Cyril's bLog (...Log, get it?)
Have you ever wondered what Cyril gets up to every day at Oakwood? Well he's going to update you on his squirrel antics around the park in his bLog written from the comfort of his very own oak tree.

It's nearly Christmas - can't wait! I had an early Christmas present the other day, I had a sneaky peak of the 2008 brochure with information about the Easter show - it's going to be brilliant! I would tell you more about it but I think it's top secret at the moment and don't want to ruin the surprise for you all.
This will probably be my last post until 2008 so merry christmas to you all, have a fantastic new year!
Stay nutty my friends!

Wednesday 5th December 2007
Hi all - I'm so excited that Christmas is round the corner - less than three weeks away! AND ... one of the best things about Christmas is that it means it's nearly time for Oakwood to reopen on 20th March 2008! We've nearly finished all the painting and tidying up here and the park is looking fantastic!
Stay nutty my friends!

Monday 12th November 2007
Hi all - I've finally managed to put my paint brush down for a rest! We've been giving everywhere a lick of paint for next year and the park is looking brilliant.
Still no news on the Easter entertainment I'm afraid. I've seen lots of people having meetings about it and they're all getting excited but nothing has been revealed yet - don't worry though I'm on the case.
Stay nutty my friends!

Wednesday 24th October 2007
Hi everyone - can't believe Oakwood has already closed for the season, I had so much fun the season just flew by! I was hoping to go somewhere hot and sunny for the winter but there's so much to do at Oakwood to prepare for 2008 they won't let me! We're busy tidying up and getting everything nice and shiny for next year.
I've heard there's going to be some fantastic entertainment when we reopen so I'll dig around and get some more information and update here as soon as I know more.
Stay nutty my friends!

Ask Cyril...
If you'd like to ask Cyril a question click here to whizz him an email. He'll try to answer as many sensible questions as he can but please remember he's very busy doing squirrel-like things around the park.
Did you know?
The red squirrel (like Cyril) is one of the UK's most endangered mammals. There are now only 160,000 in the UK and concern that native red squirrels could disappear by 2010. Most red squirrels can be found in Scotland with very few in England and Wales.
